Nigeria football legend and former senior national team captain Austin Okocha weaved his magic to inspire his former side Eintracht Frankfurt to a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Okocha made a surprise appearance at the Commerzbank Arena where his former side were hosting super power Dortmund, and his presence lifted the spirit at the arena, which played a big role in their win over Dortmund.
The former Bolton Wanderers captain addressed the fans during the half time break with scores at 0-0, urging them to get behind the team, at the stadium he referred to as his second home.
As captured by the team in their announcement on social media that the Nigerian will be at the stadium, the goodluck charm they talked about truly worked in their favour.
Jay-Jay Okocha spent four glorious years at Eintracht Frankfurt, from 1992-1996 and he scored a total of 16 goals in 90 appearances, although he is best remembered for his goal against Kalrushe, where he made mincemeat of four defenders plus legendary goalkeeper Oliver Khan before slotting home.
